Official says privatization of NCSP not planned in 2017

MOSCOW, May 25 (PRIME) -- The privatization of Russia’s Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP) is not so far planned in 2017, Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseyev told PRIME on Thursday.

NCSP was not on the plan for this year, although such possibility was discussed, he said.

“So far the situation is that everything that was planned (will be privatized) minus VTB,” he said. “The idea with NCSP was an attempt to at least partially replace VTB, but it seems that the deal is not ready yet,” he said.

Moiseyev said in April the government plans to privatize 20% in NCSP through the bourse to raise about 30 billion rubles in 2017.
